Nice composition and the focus is really sharp; but, it seems a bit dark to me and there is a yellow tint which gives it an odd look. Judging by the shadows, it was near sunset or sunrise? That could be causing the tint, but can still be corrected.

I get the feeling of sunset immediately from this. The warmth in the tones tells the story immediately.

I could imagine not only buying worms there, but also sitting on the dock with the line dangled over the side and a picture of this same scene with someone in it fishing would be a really strong image in my view.

Funny, I also picture the stereotypical image from the Beverley Hill Billies with grandma sitting out front on a rocking chair with a shotgun across her lap.

beautifully composed - I dont mind that yellow tint - typical of just before sunset around my way. I can imagine just sitting there in an old rocking chair watching the world go by.
