Default Local library

Shot one of our libraries. This library was built by a lumber Baron in the 1800's. Histroy has treated this man, Mr. Hackley very well as he left much of his wealth to the surrounding area in the form of Museums, Libraries, and a Hospital.

ISO 100, 1/200 sec, f/8, EF-S 10-22MM @20MM, F/3.5-4.5 USM

Seems to me to be the other way around: Mr. Hackley has treated history very well as he left much of his wealth to the surrounding area in the form of Museums, Libraries, and a Hospital.
The credit is due Mr. Hackley, not history.

Thanks Freddy,

The comments from this group have helped me become better at the technical aspects of photography.

I'm guessing the original crop was much more open, and you corrected the perspective?

The crop is very close and the perspective needed a lot of adjustment. I also had to remove some very distracting features from the photo, i.e. a lamp post dead center of the building and electrical wires crossing horizontally.

This is a view looking into the front entrance. Stone buildings have so much character.
