![]() I call this one my, "How bad do you have to go?" photo. Was thinking of adding some lightning and other scary effects, LOL ![]() ![]() the little sun reflection is considered bad, isn't it? I don't mind it. It gives me a feeling of time, late afternoon. I guess I won't be winning any awards soon with this attitude, ![]() ![]() If the lizard was in focus, I'd really have something here. Unfortunately, he was a happy accident who just ran through the picture as I was taking it. Oh well. How am I doing? It's hard for me to tell. Everytime I come back with pictures, they're the best I've ever taken, which is true, it just doesn't mean anything. Of COURSE they get better everytime, duh! ![]() __________________

Hey, getting better is what it's all about. The more you shoot, the better you'll get.
I've been back to these shots 4 times now and I think I've finally put my finger on what I think. Technically, they are good exposures, if just a slight bit of lens flare in the second one that sticks out. The last is good compositionally and I would rate it the best of the shots. With 1, 2 and 3 (and to a lesser extent #4), I think you have hit a middle ground between far enough out to get an overall impression of the scene, and close in to focus on individual details and simple concepts. As a result, the images are a little bit caught in no mans land. Not far enough out and not close enough in. They are nice shots, but I think if you shoot wider, or closer, you'll find more interesting images. Hope that helps. Regards, Peter |

I was kinda leaning that way myself, after I could look at it without getting emotionally involved. Which is generally, a week or 2 after taking the picture, LOL
So, almost there, but not yet. |
