I was aware of the weekend thing. I am in Dubai fairly frequently and these were take in May this year. The change makes a big difference especially if you have many dealings with Europe or North America.

Lol... I was there the last-time in 2006... even though its what a 6-7 hr. drive.
It's all the traffic and the crazed drivers that have driving me away.
Muscat at least one can get around ***still*** with ease but thats changing too, with all the new freeways being built...

I would love to get back to Dubai - was there in 2005 and the architecture just blew me away then. I can imagine you lying on your back in the floor to get those shots of the dome Love them.

The architecture is wonderful but the traffic really kills it for me. I expect to be back there later this month.

I have no problem lying on my back in Dubai.

I was referring to the taking of photos. . Is the trade Centre finished yet? - the twin towers joined by a couple of bridges that have wnd turbines in the middle of the bridge.?

Clare, not too sure what you're referring to here. This is the only Trade Centre I know in Dubai and it's been there since 1979.



I'm not as familiar with Dubai construction as I was as I'm no longer involved in it.



This a picture of the World Trade Centre currently under construction in Bahrain.

HI there mcbit, it was me, Joan, that was asking. It is #2 I was referring to - I didnt realise it was in Bahrain - I saw a program about its construction on pay TV. was fascinated by the wind turbines.
