This is an old, now closed, Strings West music store in Tulsa, OK. The guy who ran it wheeled and dealed with all the big name musicians from the 60's and 70's. He had checks on display in his store from Ted Nugent, Ann Wilson, and all kinds of blues players. He found and sold guitars to Eric Clapton too. He had all kinds of cool old amplifiers too, old Fender Bassman and blonde Showmans and Deluxes. I bought my late 60's Twin Reverb from him right before he closed shop. You eventually had to call and inquire about stuff to gain entry to the store. It was a cool place.
The shot might be a little over-saturated. I let my 8 and 7 year old daughters talk me in to pumping up the saturation. Comments and critiques are welcome. ![]() Sony DSC-F828 1/1000s f/4.0 at 7.1mm iso64 Bob __________________

This one hits me!! great story, so sad to see this , but what a Mood shot this is for me,,,
Love it... aghhhhh the broken neck on the guitar... love the color on this, and my compliments to your daughters... ya know . i wouldn't get into a clone frenzy here, but I would remove the White sign , across the street , under the M... in music, thats it , Nothing Else... everything else adds to the mood... Where else can you get wires in a shot , that match the theme.. The Wires remind me of Guitar Strings-------------> PERFECT TOUCH!! I just like this shot for the mood it sets with me, even though a bit sad, its a blast from the past... sure I will return to check this one out again!! JUST SUPER!! |

What a great shot. You just hear the music that came from that store. Can imgine being a mouse and living in a corn and witnessing the great ones trying out instruments!!!!! Wow.
It is sad to see the store in that shape when you know the story that goes with it. Too bad it couldn't be made into a musem! Dakota __________________
