A few more images of Fair Park, still scanning the negatives.

Finally finished scanning negatives:

Severe light leak at top of image, so digitally "pulled" 7 stops to salvage (somewhat).

Fair Park Dallas
Fuji Green x-ray film, Speed Graphic 4x5, 127 Ektar, pale yellow filter
Pyrocat HD 8 min, 20C, 1:1:100 (six negatives)

Looks like a photography rich environment and you've made some interesting captures with different techniques...

Yes, these are really well done. I've shot there numerous times, and was never completely happy with the results.

I really like what you've done with them.

Do you wonder how they ever got the city to pay for anatomically correct nude statues? It was a different Dallas back in the 30s, I guess.

Many thanks! Dallas is different than it was in the 90's when I moved here, not better in all ways, but different.

We went to "taste of Dallas" for the first time this year and it's the wife's new favorite annual event. This year I guess I'll break down and take her to the Fair despite my not liking crowds that much.
