Default Belmont County Courthouse

Built in 1886 by Architect Joseph W. Yost.

The three-story building is constructed of rusticated sandstone blocks with high arched windows. The building is rectangular with a central projection housing the entrance. The stairs once led to the main entrance, but due to security measures the building is now entered through a tunnel under the stairs.

I've always have had a fascination with the old styled Gothic architectures. Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for looking.

Nice. The time of day, and lighting, complement the photograph in my opinion. Photographing the building in bright sunlight would not produce the same mood that your photograph does.

Very nicely composed and I think the perspective adds a great deal.

Love it!

When I saw the top and was starting to scroll down, I thought it was just a late evening shot with soft lighting, then the yellow glow perfectly transitioned into the subject.

I dont know how you could ask for any better! I think its great!
