What a great capture! I like it. I like the brushes in the background. You might just crop a smidge off the right so his sleeve isn't in there (up to your wife's hand) but that would just be my preference.

Oh and btw...it isn't fair. When I was just days away from having my kids, especially the second one (I was induced 2 weeks early with him, 3 with my first) I pretty much didn't have knuckles anymore I was so swollen with hypertension. Your wife still has actual fingers, not sausages and she's farther into her pregnancy than I ever managed to get. From now on, I leave getting pregnant to those who do it better than I do. 5-6 months of morning sickness, swelling up like a balloon, gestational diabetes that acts more like hypoglycemia, heart problems...yeah, not something I want to do again.

I bet he'll have a blast. As soon as I get done with my Japanese class I'll be heading home, grabbing my husband and the two boys and hitting the mall where they will be trick-or-treating. We normally go to the little strip mall here in town, but it is always cold and it is supposed to be raining tomorrow, plus they usually shut down about 6:30 which is when I'll be getting home. So...the big mall it is. We'll see if we can maneuver my son through the aisles in the stores in his huge train costume. It should be interesting. He'll probably be one of the only kids whose costume makes him almost as long as he is tall.

Sara
