Just playing with this posterisation effect that Kevin is so adept at. Looks like I have a bit to go, but always fun trying new things out .

I wish I could, but this is just a gentle use of the 'poster edges' filter in PS. I think there's more to it than that for the technique I'm hinting at. I know Kevin uses it to good effect, and I'm sure there is more to it than just the poster edges. Some good examples from him are here:
