Just wondering what everyone thinks of this photos. I cropped from the original, used Noise Ninja plugin in PS and the used unsharp mask.

Does it look natural or processed?

Interesting, I just noticed that when the photo was put up here its less red, which takes away some of her natural coloring. I guess the software reads the colors differntly. To see what I'm talking about, click on the file link below the photo and see what it looks like in your viewer compared to this site.

I suspect it's the ICC profile at work. Don't images displayed on the web use sRGB? Maybe your image is Adobe RGB and it's being converted ? (Do you use 'save for web'?). I've been testing this out myself recently, following some info on this page http://www.gballard.net/psd/saveforwebshift.html.

Of course, it may be something else entirely, but it is something to bear in mind when publiishing images for web viewing.
