C&C welcome
I'm not sure on the title yet, but I found the effect interesting. __________________

the desturated background really gives definition to the leaves. Excellent job on seperating the two.

I love the colors in the leaves. I wish though that the diagonal did not so neatly separate the frame into halves.

That thought did cross my mind when I took this, but I decided to keep the camera level. There were some small drops on the leaves that would have looked odd dripping sideways. I will try a couple of more times this weekend is I can. Looking for 1 or 3 leaves on the concert background, I just hope there are some leaves remaining.

You could just have lowered the diagonal a bit in the frame (not rotated) to set it a touch more off center. Looking forward to what you find next.

I get a strong sense of motion from the diagonal and like the visual weight afforded the leaves.

Very nice and strong contrast. And I like the pointy and curvy tips of the leaves...

Of those two I like the 2nd one best - it's a nice contrast between the still live and the dead leaves.
But detail wise I still prefer the first one. You could probably just crop it differently to move that diagonal a touch more off center. ![]() __________________
