Chrome Statue
This is a statue in my grandparents back yard that I thought looked neat. I like the fact that I couldn't see myself in the reflection.

Well seen! A small world confined in a sphere... and you did a good job cloning the photograph out of the reflection!
 I do like the way the sphere mimicks a planet - as I said: a small world. It's kind of a metaphor for so many of us: we live in small worlds, and feel like our world is the whole planet... and around us is deep darkness. The irony of this metaphor is that the small world is standing on a post and is very fragile to be thrown out of the resting position...I personally would adjust the levels on the right side of the sphere to bring in more contrast, crop it square and give it more dark space around the whole subject matter. Since you have editing yes, I upload a quick edit to visualize my ideas. That would strengthen the small world metaphor imho. cheers ® __________________
