Some interesting potential for composites (e.g. different colour smoke within the same frame).

Very nice Lee.

The shapes in the first one give it the edge over the second, but they are both nice.

Regards,

peter

Post your shots here and get help so that when you show other people they sparkle. We're all in this together.
Thank you for the invitation, Lee. That's really nice of you!

OK, so here's one. As you can see, I'm a lot closer to the smoke than Lee, mainly because my off-shoe flash cord didn't let me back up any further. I need to find a solution for that. BTW: I killed my flash during this session It simply couldn't keep up with me

The smoke in this pic is not as sharp as I would have liked but I liked the shape:

That looks nice Bea! I actually like the softness on the edge, it has a nice feel.

And I certainly don't mind them here but by "here" I meant on the camel. Come here to learn and then impress your friends, neighbors, clients, or whoever. A lot of people will miss your post in this thread because they've seen this thread and may skip it.

Nice color transition. I didn't even try that!

Ooops, so sorry for the misunderstanding. I can delete it if you want, I certainly didn't mean to crash your thread.

Very nice Bea.

The tight framing makes it really intimate. Very impressive result and the softness in this works for me as well.

Regards,

Peter

No problem at all. Leave it. I like it and I'm not real protective of my threads. lol

But post it in a new thread too so people will see it as "New" and will take a look and add their opinions!
