Beautiful treatment Lauren. We don't have much call for the burgundy colour, but occasionally we can talk a bride into using the mango colour. It's quite popular in the fall.

Cross processing originally was a film thing. By processing one kind of film in the chemistry designed for another some unusual results cropped up. Most likely the first few cross processed rolls of film were accidents but the happy accidents led to a pretty popular era in the 1960's (It had to be then, didn't it?) some of the predictable results were then made intentional. Here's a link with a pretty decent description of cross processing:

Today in digital photography, editing programs have been equipped with features that replicate cross processing with out the chemistry.
