Arrow Abstract and Artistic Challenge #6 - Repeating Patterns - KARMA TIME

The theme for our SIXTH Abstract and Artistic Expression challenge is REPEATING PATTERNS.

This challenge will get you looking at things and framing your subjects in a totally different way. Be as creative as you can - mix up textures and colors with your repeating patterns to add interest. And if you want to double the challenging part, do it all with a 50mm (or any other fixed focal length) lens.

Please give your images a title so we can refer to them in our comments. And add any situational or technical information that you like (ambient lighting, season, location, shutter speed, aperture, iso, lens, camera, etc).

Most importantly - have fun!

xx~A

As a picture is worth 1000 words I always like to have a "themepost" photo to better understand the spirit of the competition.

I hope you will find this Flickr pool called "Repeating Patterns" a source of inspiration, or please if I got the description wrong please correct.

REPEATING PATTERNS group pool

Default You wouldn't be here without this pattern

Title: *

A repeating pattern that all of us would be screwed without.

It has a slight touch of the texture process from 2 challenges ago.

Canon 50D, 70-200 lens 85mm, F6.3 ISO 200, 2 second exposure, 20mm of dumb macro tubes, room lights.

I was shooting a classic car car show the other day and by accident shot the asphalt. I deleted it and then remembered the Texture Challenge and fished it out and used it here.
So if it looks like a car ran over my keyboard it actually might have happened.

texture looks good Paul. With the shiny worn patches, makes it look like an old typewriter.

Are you referring to the TWO ones that are upside down (one is red the other orange, or the one that patently used Viagra ?
