The Tamrac Velocity 9, a bag of similar design and purpose, has the same problem... and it's strap is about half as good as the Lowepro's. I was thinking of trying the Lowepro too, but already have the Tamrac and it isn't comfortable to use as intended. Personally, I've given up on this style of "slingshot" bag for now- until one comes out that has a sufficiently-tough strap, I'm staying away...
