OK lets go into this in a bit more detail..........

The Slingshot 200 AW has a great sling design which allows it to do what other bags do which is of course open it and be camera ready without putting the bag down making it more secure and safe from elements.

LOADING AND CAPACITY

Loading is easy with the huge access lid just set it down on the table and start slotting everything into place. then secure up with the silent zipsand the buckles to prevent the whole thing tumbing out equipment in the field. zip half way clip buckles then slide in the camera at the top enough room for my 350d with the grip attached or the 5d again with the grip attached. drape lens cloth over the back and finish zipping to the centre* * * *voila!!!!

I carry all my camera equipment in the main section or in sliplocks if i need extra. While in the outer compartments i have a space blanket first aid kit and two small* leathermans.

Top compartment enough room for a pen a notepad, waterproof jacket, maglite, filters, sandisk extreme 3 s* and battery's.

RIGOROUS TESTING

Some serious testing done such as taking on a* downhill mountain bike over a challenging black diamond course( just make sure its nice and tight) it has been subjected to rain (no problem with the all weather cover built in just swing it round pull out the cover,apply and swing round no stopping and no dropping)

I have taken this bag for a 26 mile walk to test the comfort over long periods and have to say its really very good* holds everything nice and securely* and is fully customizable to your requirements.

EXTRAS

A lens cloth built into main camera section ideal for screens and protects from scratches only slight problem for some would be wide camera straps getting in a bit of a tangle but i use the E1 strap on my 350d and 5d and don't find it a hassle (each to their own as they say).

The allweather cover stitched in so it cannot be lost a subtle touch but an important one.

A camera compartment memory card wallet can carry four sandisk extreme 3 cards easily in or out of their cases.

Sliplock attachments always enhance how customizable this bag can be as everyones carrying needs are different

Build quality = Excellent, lifetime guarantee guarantee* very well constructed usual lowepro standards will last for years!!!!
Capacity* * * = I was amazed when i first purchased this bag and took it home just how much i can carry in it
Comfort* * * *= After taking the Slingshot* cycling, walking, running for the plane there were no problems at all secure and no pain
Trains, Planes + Autos = It can be used as carry on no problem at all no problems what so ever "perfect size" i was told
Price* * * * * * = I think for a Lowepro i would say exceptional value for money they could have charged more and still be popular
