Default Re: IE 8 Update Problems

I, too, am struggling with IE8. Seems Bill Gates, or his successors, feel the entire web has to submit to the changes required by Microsoft. That is generally what happens, but it makes for difficult times for users. Probably, eventually, things will straighten out, til the next version comes out and we start all over again. This "Compatability Mode" thing bugs me to no end. So far, things are slower than they ever were. I do like the features, but when you get stalled, it isn't any help to have such great features!

I keep it installed, and hope for a better future. The Beta was the worst, but the final was a little better, not much, but better. So, I wait for an update that actually is good.

It will likely be one of those situations where you will need a newer faster machine to really be able to use these new features. So buy the latest greatest and fastest most loaded machine you can get, and MAYBE it will work flawlessly!
