Default Re: Wide screen monitors

I'm much happier with my now older acer 18" LCD screen than I was with any CRT. The newer LCD screens are using LED's instead of florescent back lights so they are much more energy efficient than even the older LCD screens. With the new non CTR's there are no focus, convergence or pincussion issues and no balooning with different screen brightnesses. And of course they are much thinner taking up less desk space.

The brightness, contrast and screen temeperature all all adjustable for calibrating you system. I would never go back to a CRT for any reason.
