the larger you go the less expensive ink will be (but will stay expensive).

when going larger you have to check if you want to stay with sheets or if roll-feed is an option. Personally i do not like the roll (and i do not have the space for a larger printer). I simpy adore my Epson Stylus Pro 3800 . . .

Paper cost is another story.

Profilling has to be thought of too unless using a brand with profiles for your printer or using manufacturer's paper.

time is a factor to consider too as you will need to spend some time to do the work yourself.

None of these considerations have stopped me of preferring doing the prints myself
