Hi,

I have 5 external HDs right now connected via USB. Mac should be able to read the drives without issue but writing, depending on the format, might be an issue. If you are using NTFS I would check Google or some source to make sure that won't cause a problem.

My Spyder2Pro's software worked just fine with OS X without any issues. Downloaded updates from the Spyder site to get the latest versions.

I use FireFox on OS X mostly but sometimes Safari has a use or two. LOL

If what you want is something to do browsing on I could suggest the Mac Mini then with a memory upgrade to 4GB.
