I surf the net and open various windows at one time. With IE if one window failed and it was opened from scratch and not from another window, only it would fail. The other windows would stay open. In FF, no matter how a window was opened if one window fails they all fail. Any fix to that?

Also, I have a blank white bar going across my top window area just below the Mozilla bar. Anyone know what that is or how to get rid of it?
