Help!!
Ok, here's the situation. I burn a CD of jpegs - sometimes close to a hundred of them, high resolution for printing. It can take up a lot of the CD space, but not all of it. I'm using the win xp in house burn/copy feature from a the folder on the desktop to a CD-R. No problems. I then use the "make compatible" feature. No problems. I test it out on another win xp machine AND a Mac...no problems. But, when it goes into some Win Vista machine, the jpeg folder is empty, but the properties shows couple hundred megabytes of stuff, which of course are the jpegs. I've done some googling and have found no real understanding or fix...At this point, I'm thinking it's not so much Win Vista, but the media player, in some cases a DVD-RW which is not showing the CD-R jpegs....??
Any thoughts on this? Any suggestions or pointers? It would be nice to know that the burned images on a CD-R could play on just about any modern computer. I figured, if it plays on a Mac and an Windows, it's compatabile for 99% of users...but, maybe not..maybe there are other concerns to work around....Anyway, your input is appreciated. Thanks -Ken
