Default Re: Old photographs: Remembering the past

I'm beginning to sort through some old pics from my grandma, and I came across this one. Unfortunately, it's been rolled up in the shape of a tube for so long that it has creases in it when I try to lay it flat. (Any ideas on how to unroll and flatten a picture, with the least damage??) It's so long I had to trim the edges off in the scanner. In the left corner it says, " A.L. Monroe, Cottage grove, Ore, 1916." The building says, "Walker Union High School." On the back is this hand-written message:
Take this home and show it to your parents and then bring it back to the teacher, and if you want one or moore, bring the teacher 50 cents each. Order now for if you do not you will wish you had by-and-by when you can not get one. A. L. Monroe, Photographer.
