Default Re: Repairing Pentax P3/P30

First of all, WELCOME TO THE CAMEL.

I am not familiar with the Pentax P30 but I really doubt that it is worth over $100 to repair most 35mm film cameras. If you live in or near a larger city, visit some of the camera shops. I would guess that you will find a large selection of fairly high quality used cameras, in good operating condition and at very reasonable prices. The other alternative is to shop on-line; but that requires some time and you may not be able to have your camera in time for the holiday celebrations.
