Repairing Pentax P3/P30
Hello,
I'm new to this forum and I just wanted some advice with some more experienced people regarding film camera repairs. I recently found a P30 body with the standard 50mm prime lens in the garage and took it to the repair shop as the battery seemed corroded. The estimates on total work on the camera would be 120$-130$ (they found some other stuff that needed fixing). Should I repair the P30 or should I just buy a new/old film camera altogether? I want to get a camera before the holidays so that I can shoot during the celebrations and parties.
Thank you.
