I don't have another lens for my D300 except for the 18-200(it came with the camera) but I do plan to get another as soon as my bank account recoups
But so far I am very impressed with it and I have had no probs at low light situations. Even the iso bumped up produces fairly good results. I do miss my macro lens tho and have to decide which one will satisfy me the most.
