I am not a big fan of these types of lenses. The more and more I think about it, though, it seems as though it would come in handy when visiting, oh say, Disneyland. I am taking the kiddies this weekend and don't want to lug around a 70-200 and I don't think a 24-70 would give me enough reach.

What do y'all think?

BTW-I can make the purchase tomorrow before 7 pm PST.
