Photos for Week 5
(Week of March 27)

We usually visit nearby Steveston about twice a month. Always something interesting to see.
As luck would have it there was a filming going on for the ABC TV hit series "Once Upon a Time"

Photos for Week 7
(Week of April 10)

We had a bit of sunshine this week. Pam and I grabbed the opportunity for a walk along the Fraser River near our home.

1
The mountain in the background is Mt. Baker USA - about 40 miles southeast of Vancouver.

Lots of traffic on the river

Another very nice set of photos for week 4, Wolf.
Orewa looks like quite a nice beach. All of those surfers in ph 2,3 look like they are having a fun time.
The fellow in ph 4&5 looks like he is a pro.
Wow, ph6 looks like a real scene and that ship does look menacing.
Ph 7 does look like a place that Humphrey Bogart would want to hang out.
Gorgeous flower in ph8 but that bird in ph9 doesn't look very friendly!
Cheers, Murray

Thanks very much for your kindly comments Murray. Appreciated.
Those kids in photos 2 & 3 were youngsters taking surfing lessons, they were very happy for sure.
The fellow in Ph 4 & 5 made me think of the Beach Boys songs.
My thoughts exactly on the Casablanca restaurant scene, Murray.

Photos for Week 8
(Week of April 17)

We had a quick visit to Harrison to celebrate Easter weekend.
A few random shots.

1
This fellow brought his own Easter bunny.

2
The float plane pier was scene of a wedding shoot.

3
I had a chuckle at the license plate.

4
This guy was in a flap.

Nice shots in week #9 wolfd. Like the geese family. Are you shooting them in the rain? If so, how do you keep your gear somewhat dry?

Thanks for your kind words Mike.
Yes I often shoot in the rain. I was using an umbrella for this shot. I usually tip the umbrella up to avoid getting it in the frame and / or crop it out when processing.

On reflection I kind of chuckled at my own dumb question.

Thinking that rain would slow you down in BC is probably like thinking cold would slow us down in Fairbanks. Neither one of us would probably get off the couch if that was the case.
