Another fun set of photos for week 21, Wolf.
Ph1 is a great capture of the Gastown Clock. From that perspective it has very nice color and detail.
It's nice to see that fellow in ph2 testing the new mirrorless camera. "Galaxy Life" is actually scrambled letters for " A Gaily Flex" which looks exactly what that fellow is doing.
I wouldn't mind having that Rolls Royce in ph3.
One of the weiners in ph4 looks quite orthogonal.
That Island Princess in ph6,7, & 8 is a beautiful ship. Looks pretty new. I would book it but I am not a boat cruise person.
Cheers, Murray

Thanks very much for your kindly comments Murray. Appreciated.
That steam clock in Vancouver's Gastown district attracts a lot of photographers.
We went by there again today and there were folks waiting for their turn to be photographed in front of it.
Nice work in deciphering the true meaning behind 'Galaxy Life"
I too would love to have that Rolls Royce in ph3. But if it came down to deciding if I wanted that or the $300,000. cash I would opt for the cash.
Yes there is always one wiener in a group that wants to be on top.
Pam & I will be on an Alaska cruise in a few weeks. We're looking forward tom it.

Nice collection of vintage car shots wolfd. I have neither the knowledge, skill set, money, or patience for such a hobby (photography is bad enough).

And I hope you have a great time on your Alaska cruise. Looking forward to your photos.

Thanks Mike.
I agree totally with your sentiments on the vintage car hobby.

Week of August 7/17.

For this week I am posting a series from our trip to nearby Steveston, a fishing village near Vancouver.

Also had a coffee break at the Steveston Bakery.

5
Of course our grand daughter Emily also came along.

6

7
Made me think of the movie.

8
Fish talk.

11

12

Sea urchins

14
I must confess that we also popped in to Dave's Fish & Chips for a bite.

15

Emily always likes ice cream after a nice meal.

A wonderful set of automotive photos for week 22, Wolf.
From ph1, it looks like white hair and beard are requirements for the auto wizards.
Ewww, those vehicles in ph2 are beautiful.
That is wise advice printed in the note in ph3.
Ph4 is a perfect color blue while the open hood is a stunning view of the car in ph5 and ph6.
That's a handsome car in ph7 and an unusual brown color in ph8.
I think I am in love with whoever the Mom is for ph9, especially since I have had a peek under her hood.
The car in ph11 is an all time classic.
Cars in ph12 and 13 are pretty sporty but the cars in ph14 and ph15 are real thrillers.
The red truck in ph16 is an excellent color to close off the set.
Cheers, Murray

Thanks for your in depth observations Murray. Appreciated.
Yes it certainly does look like being an auto enthusiast one must look old & grey like those guys (and me)
Many of those vehicles are much older that you or I.
I had a chuckle about that sign on the car in ph #3.
All those cars were much cleaner under the hood than my car.
I think the Cobra (ph #9) was my favorite of the entire event.
Yes the old Mercury in Ph# 11 ranks right up there with the '57 Chevy.
I could almost imagine Steve McQueen in the driver's seat of that Mustang in ph #14.
There were lots of scenes of owners wiping specks of dust of their cars as in ph #16. These folks are very passionate about their cars.
