Here, here! Thanks for saying that. I have a whole library of film books, going way back. Most of the information is pertinent to taking photographs. I've also noticed that so many books devote one or two chapters to taking the pictures, just touching on exposure and maybe composition, then the rest of the book is all about post-processing. Several even have chapters devoted to correcting the image. If they'd spent more time telling how to take a good picture in the first place, they wouldn't need to much correction after the fact.
