I have a Canon 430EX Speedlite. It has the capability of being used in Slave mode and I don't know how to get it to work.

Does anyone know the settings to get it to work as a slave? I'd like to set it up on a tripod to camera left, thinking I won't have to set up an umbrella if I can get it to work but I can't find my manual that shows how to use it as a Slave.

Oh, I'm using a Canon Digital Rebet XT. I have a Stroboframe to use off camera, but couldn't make it to the camera store today to get the cord, so I though I could use the flash as a Slave on a tripod! Is this possible?
