Ok right now im shooting with the basic 300D *basic digital rebel*

Now my friend that got me into photography is getting out, he shoots with a Canon Rebel Xt, he rarely uses it, and its in really great condition. I think i remember him saying he'll let it go for $350, full body and kit lens. I think these are around 8mp, but so is the 30D i believe. What is the main difference, i think the 30D body goes for a bit more than 350.....the only thing i really dont like about the newer cameras (xt-xti) is the tiny size of them.

Questions
Whats a good ballpark range for selling my 300D
Is a Rebel Xt good for 350 used, or should i just get a 30D body.

I got a month to think about this, he's out of town. So...any advice guys n gals?
