Your camera will only trigger the PW as long as it's shutter is open.

I've got the same issue with my Sigma EF-500 DG super, that I discovered today when I received my Chinese radio trigger.

After some investigation I found that as long as the central contact is short-cut (I tried it manually with a piece of wire) the unit constantly generates multiple flashes as long as charged capacity allows. And constantly flashing AF-assist light is also annoying.

I am wondering if there is any possibility to easily trigger flash in M-mode via external contacts... I wouldn't mind to do some soldering. Perhaps getting contacts of the "Test" button connected to an external radio receiver? (but I am not sure if Test button isn't connected to a high-voltage circuit).
