The reason for my asking is that some remotes will
ONLY WORK ONCE on 580 EX II's.
I have some optical slaves, for these I need to re-boot my 580' after EVERY shot, I also have some e-Bay "Poverty Wizards", these work fine.
Some e-Bay sellers of various flash remotes SPECIFICALLY say that their products will not work with the later Canon flashes
