Probably not, tay. Congrats on your new toy! But what when it packs up? Suppose you have a harddisk crash. It happens, you know (both my HD's crashed in the last 4 years!). Have you got an iron-clad backup arrangement?
Apple's "Time Capsule" is great! Incremental backups at timed intervals and a super convenient User Interface. Just set it up and forget about it.
For redundancy I also have a backup set on an off-location HD, that I refresh once a month.
Need to restore one particular file from 4 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days ago? Just surf to that date in Time Capsule, navigate to that file, click on it, and click restore. Done!
And I sleep better at night too, since!
