I haven't worn it for any significant length of time, but it doesn't sit around your neck like a traditional strap does, with the weight of the camera and lens tugging against it. It rests on your shoulder and distributes the weight across your shoulder and the camera and lens rest at your side. Because of the way it attaches, the camera lays differently allowing the lens to trail behind the camera rather than stick out in front of it as it does with a traditional strap. So far, I've found it much much more comfortable than OpTech or Upstrap.... more along the lines of having the Optic slung over your shoulder in a similar fashion.
