LOL, haven't been home to try it out. It appears to be thicker (sorry, nothing to compare it with right now) than the Canon. It is definitely quality stuff, with a vinyl or pleather ends. The logo is somewhat discrete, not as loud as the Canon Digital EOS...it's meshed like the Canon, so that's good for those of us who tend to perspire around the neck. It really is a nice strap. I say if it wasn't free, I'd easily pay $9.99 for it. I'm guessing the neoprene ones may be easier on the neck when carry a 30D with a grip, 16-35L and a flash, but it's free and I'm no ingrate.
