I think you have to set them up in the nvidia software. I think it is called TwinView. probably get to it by right-clicking on the desktop and going to advanced display properties.

The advantage is having 2 different applications open at once. You can see both big. If you use one application (like Photoshop), you can have the image on one display, and the toolboxes and such on the other. Makes for a lot bigger viewing area while post processing.
