Oh sorry. Didn't read the part about wanting images as good or better than his Canon in the original thread....because it isn't there.

He is 15. Probably doesn't know what working with film entails. A Holga is a good way to learn the whole process. Image quality from a Holga is a subjective thing. It isn't pin sharp, but it does produce some nice images. Yes, a Yashica or a Lubitel would be better in certain image qualities, but they come at a higher price. If I knew nothing about film and all that is involved with it, I'd want to start light on the wallet. Might be me though.
