Not a gerbil..but a rodent just the same. This is Spekkie. He was an abyssinian guinea pig. A rescue from the OSPCA who, coincidently, bit me on a daily basis. I guess that's why he was turned into the pound
He also loved the cats - tried to hump them whenever they entered his cage. (he lived in an open top rubbermaid container). Oh, Spek is dutch for bacon
