Hi all!
First post, so be gentle with me - and seeing as Im a newbie here, allow me to buy you at virtual drink at the cyber bar!
OK - Heres where I'd appreciate a little guidance. Im a portrait photographer, based in London. I have been approached by an Italian investment bank, who have a stand at a trade fair next month, in Italy. (Asset management type stuff)
Basically, they want to use 2 of my images as part of their backdrop - God alone knows why, they are nice shots but have nothing at all to do with finance LOL
Anyhow, they dont need exclusive rights to the image, just permission to use them for a week at this exhibition. They expect around 500 visitors over the week.
I dont anticipate getting any further work from it. They will print the images themselves from the files I send, and they will be 100cm x 70cm. The images will be credited.
How much ought I to charge them for the use of my images?
Is there anything I should ask before I give my consent?
Many thanks for your help, opinions and advice!
Dan
