I'm "brand new" to "the Camel" (5 hours!) and if this is some "inkling" of what I'm "in for" in the way of discussions then "my admiration and appreciation" to all of you (especially Worm324 and jfrancho!). I'm "new" to both HDR and Lightroom (even Photomatix and Photoshop); haven't "scratched the surfaces" yet. I try a lot of the "quick and crazy" (but NOT totally "sloppy") stuff to get "a feel" for the process. Then I can show (for instance) an "artist with a point-n-shoot" that they CAN try HDR (even with JPEGs) "creatively" and go on to more DISCIPLINE and QUALITY as they can or as they desire.
