Upon a deaper look around, I found where you can increase the amount of RAM that PSE uses under prefs. Also I noticed that untill I let all the "thumbnails" be created was where it was slow. After all 12,737 files loaded all the way, speed is normal now. Still looking at how to have only a certain item in a photo have color and the rest be B&W. Always loved that effect. Thanks again for all the help.
