always properly expose the skin. I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would want to purposely over or underexpose the skin in the original capture. If the skin is properly exposed, we can take the image into Photoshop and use curves and levels (and several other things) to do anything we want with it . We can even leave it alone if we want to!
