Quite some time ago there was an article from one of the computer mags on a test that was done between XP and Vista that showed Vista was slower (and that was before SP3) and the tests specifically included Photoshop..... I don't know about the rest of us, but I sure wouldn't want to have PS run slower! I'm very happy with the speed I get using XP with my Dell XPS710.
