mr pickels is right about there being barrel distortion when using a wide angle lens for yuor panos. one way to minimise this distortion is to orient your camera in portrait mode. it also helps when you dont have anything with too straight an edge located near the edges but this is not always possible, but be sure to give plenty of overlap and you should be fine. definately start saving up! i think the regular version has access to the new pano engin, but i tihkn some features are disabled, (not %100 on this). check out the academic discounters!!! is you, or anyone in your family is a syudent or you work for certain types of businesses, you qualify. cs3 extended', without academic discount=close to $1000! w/ discount= like $299!!! otherwise, goto their web-site and download the 30 free trial!! that takes you right up till about christmas!
