I didn't see any field hockey pics on the first page of the forum, so I figured I'd pick my favorites and share them.* That, and I don't feel like catching up on work right at the start of Christmas break.

These were shot with a Nikon D70 and a 70-300mm f/4-5.6G AF Nikkor.* I had a good deal of trouble trying to get good action shots on that cloudy day, and I became convinced that I needed a f/2.8 lens (taken care of already).

We won this one, by the way.* This last one was taken with the 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 DX
