Yeah, without chimping you can probably easily put 3,000 on it (using D2H/D2HS, shooting JPEG). The old EN-EL4 was no slouch either, in the 2,000-range (again, JPEG). Unless I'm shooting a big event I charge my batteries once every week and a half... if I shoot some every day.
