I don't know whether it makes sense upgrading from 30D to 40D myself. I've got a 10-month old 30D with less than 3000 shots. The features that have my interest are the weather sealing and the 'safety' on the card door, but full time ISO is useful too. I suspect I will stick with my 30D for now and see what's on the horizon in 2009.

Anyone know why the 40D body is $100 more expensive than the kit with the 28-135?
